Babcock Australasia is seeking a procurement and inventory professional to support the Collins Class Submarine Program from Woodville North. The role focuses on end-to-end purchasing, supplier management and inventory readiness within a high-impact defence environment.

12-month fixed-term with extension possibilities, based on project needs. You will work closely with procurement, supply chain, engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery, accurate stock and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory control or procurement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across procurement, operations and commercial teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing workflows.
• Eligible to obtain Defence security clearance (Australian citizen).

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities and raise purchase orders.
• Coordinate supplier performance and expedites to meet timelines.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support material readiness.
• Provide procurement insights and reporting to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, warehouse, quality, production and project teams to hit milestones.
