Job summary

CAE is seeking a skilled Multimedia Developer to join the Defence & Security training development team. You will create engaging digital learning content for AIR5428 programs, collaborating with instructional designers and subject matter experts to deliver immersive, interactive training for Defence aviation platforms.

The role involves working across artefacts, videos, animations and responsive eLearning solutions, with a focus on accuracy and instructional effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain NV1 security clearance.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in multimedia development for training environments.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate or Lectora.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and xAPI.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing software.

Responsibilities

• Create multimedia assets including artwork, illustrations, animations and video content for Defence training solutions.
• Develop and modify interactive digital learning content using industry-leading multimedia development tools.
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Courseware Developers and SMEs to ensure engaging, accurate content.
• Support the development of simulation-based graphics and interactive training environments.
• Manage competing priorities to deliver multimedia products on schedule and to a high standard.
• Contribute to innovation and standardisation across Defence training programs and multimedia development activities.
