Job summary

CAE Australia is hiring a Courseware Developer to create interactive training content for Defence and Security clients in Australia. You will join a production team of developers, multimedia specialists, QA personnel, and SMEs to build learning products from one-page job aids to full e-learning programs or interactive 3-D simulations.

Design and develop CAE managed courseware in line with standardised processes, review content for standards, and meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

  • Experience or qualifications in the development of computer-based training.
  • Solid experience in training development, ideally within defence or aviation industries.
  • Experience with Learning Content Management Systems and authoring tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to work to a hybrid arrangement, minimum 3 days in the office and 2 days flexible. Working out of the Head Office in Homebush, NSW.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance – must be an Australian Citizen.

Role Overview

At CAE, a Courseware Developer works within a group of dedicated training professionals to develop interactive eLearning content for our Defence and Security clients in Australia.

As a Courseware Developer, you will work as part of the production team comprised of other developers, multimedia specialists, quality assurance personnel, web developers, and subject matter experts to build a full range of learning products from one‑page job aids to full e‑learning courseware programs or interactive 3‑D simulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Solid experience in training development, ideally within defence or aviation industries
