Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking an experienced Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the evaluation, certification and technical governance of products and suppliers supporting the GWEO program in Canberra.

You will work with Australian and US Defence stakeholders, provide leadership across engineering and production activities, and help position Australian suppliers to participate in the broader US supply chain.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering experience leading complex technical processes.
• Ability to engage with diverse subject matter experts across disciplines.
• Knowledge of System Safety in complex systems.
• Experience with defence ordnance or missiles would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, evaluation and certification of supplier products.
• Provide governance across engineering solutions from concept to production.
• Lead technical reviews and trade studies.
• Develop Technical Data Packs as required.
• Review technical deliverables for compliance with requirements.
