Job summary

Eptec Defence is a trusted provider of asset preservation and sustainment solutions for Australia's Defence and maritime industries. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Defence Solutions team at Garden Island, NSW, reporting to the Program Manager.

You will lead safe, on-time delivery of Defence and maritime projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, commercial outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management experience within Defence, Marine, Asset Remediation, Infrastructure, Construction or Industrial Services environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline.
• Strong leadership capable of managing multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors and operational personnel.
• High-level commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Champion Eptec's Zero Harm culture and lead by example in promoting a safe and collaborative workplace.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning and mobilisation through to project completion and close-out.
• Monitor and manage project execution requirements, deliverables and schedules.
• Allocate and manage project resources to ensure effective project delivery.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Defence stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality requirements and operational standards.
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans, schedules, reports and Gantt charts.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance and client outcomes.
