Job summary

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV) is seeking a Project Engineer to join the team at RAAF Base Wagga for a landmark $1.7 billion Defence infrastructure program across regional New South Wales. You will coordinate work packages, plan activities, review drawings, monitor progress, costs and quality while managing subcontractor interfaces.

Ideal candidates hold an Engineering degree with 5–8 years in construction projects, and possess strong communication, risk and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Engineering.
• Experience in building, infrastructure or major construction projects (5–8 years).
• Exposure to fitout, facades, piling, precast, roofing, services, or commissioning works.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and managing assigned work packages.
• Planning and programming construction activities.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction methodologies.
• Monitoring progress, productivity, costs and quality outcomes.
• Managing subcontractor performance and site interfaces.
• Resolving engineering and technical challenges.
• Supporting project reporting and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with project standards and contractual requirements.
• Promoting a Zero Harm culture.
