Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join the GEO SPACES program. You will integrate complex ICT components within a secure Defence environment, bridging architecture, engineering and security teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role emphasizes planning, requirements review, and documentation uplift, with a four-month contract and opportunities for growth within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Systems Integration Engineering or Systems Engineering in Defence or complex ICT.
• Understanding of interface management, technical documentation and implementation planning.
• Ability to identify dependencies, risks and sequencing across interconnected systems.
• Knowledge of ICT architectures, security controls, and service transition models.

Responsibilities

• Review system requirements and interface artefacts to identify integration dependencies, risks and constraints across complex ICT systems.
• Provide engineering insights and recommendations for integration planning and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security and project teams to ensure traceability and readiness for implementation.
• Contribute to documentation uplift, risk and dependency management, and governance reviews for Defence ICT programs.
