Job summary

Service Stream in Darwin is seeking an Estate Upkeep (EU) Supervisor to lead the EU function across Base Security Areas, coordinating in-house teams and external contractors to uphold the estate to the highest standards. You will ensure SLA requirements are understood and met, creating a safe and efficient working environment for all staff.

You must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain Defence Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in estate upkeep or similar.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and issuing permits-to-work.
• Experience managing in-house teams and external contractors.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Estate Upkeep function across Base Security Areas.
• Coordinate in-house staff and external contractors.
• Issue permits-to-work and ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct toolbox talks and pre-start safety meetings.
• Perform post-work inspections and audits for quality.
• Ensure SLA requirements are understood and met.
• Maintain records and reports of upkeep activities.
• Collaborate on maintenance schedules with the PAS Base Manager.
• Identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental regulations are followed.
• Drive process improvements with teams to adopt best practices.
