Job summary

Talent Mode, in partnership with a Defence consultancy, seeks an experienced Delivery Technical Lead to support a major Defence capability program in Canberra. You will provide technical leadership across design, delivery and assurance within a secure Defence environment.

The role is Canberra-based with hybrid working arrangements. NV2 clearance is highly desirable, NV1 considered. Start ASAP up to 4–6 weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex ICT or technology capability programs.
• Strong systems engineering and delivery framework knowledge.
• Experience working in Defence environments and with security controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across capability delivery activities.
• Support solution design, technical planning and engineering assurance.
• Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies.
• Contribute to system specifications, technical requirements and architecture documentation.
• Support verification, validation and technical acceptance activities.
• Engage with Defence, industry and project stakeholders to achieve delivery outcomes.
• Provide technical advice to senior leaders and delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions align with governance, security and assurance requirements.
