Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking an experienced Network Operator to join a highly capable team supporting critical Defence communications. You will operate the DHFCS and EDHFCS, monitoring and engineering voice and data circuits across HF bands while handling cryptographic keying equipment.

Working in a 24/7 operational environment, you will contribute to reliable and secure communications for ADF and allied platforms.

Qualifications

• Must hold, at a minimum, a current NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
• Experience in the Defence industry or working with communications systems will be highly regarded.
• Role requires working in a 24/7 operational environment and operating a 12-hour rotational shift roster.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Defence High Frequency Communication System (DHFCS) and the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communication System (EDHFCS).
• Engineer and operate voice and data circuits across the High Frequency spectrum.
• Operate cryptographic keying equipment to maintain secure communications.
