Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking an experienced Network Operator to support critical Defence communications. You will operate the DHFCS and EDHFCS, monitor voice and data circuits, and handle cryptographic keying equipment in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires a proactive team player with attention to detail and the ability to sustain operations around the clock, plus NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Onsite duties in Canberra, ACT expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Network Operator in a role supporting critical defence communications.
• NV1 Defence Security Clearance is required by program requirements.
• Experience in defence-oriented communications systems is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, engineer and operate voice and data circuits across the High Frequency spectrum.
• Operate cryptographic keying equipment to secure communications.
• Support 24/7 shift operations and maintain reliable, secure communications.
• Collaborate within a capable team to sustain critical defence networks.
