Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Commercial Officer in Adelaide to deliver complex commercial advice, contract management and procurement outcomes for the Export Program PMO. You will work with an integrated team across Defence and allied contractors to ensure value for money and compliance with Commonwealth policy.

The role demands experience in managing Defence contracts, strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to operate under tight deadlines within a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in managing Defence contractual relationships.
• Eligibility for NV1 security clearance.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, high pressure environment.
• Strong communications and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience with complex Defence contracts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex commercial advice for the Export Program PMO.
• Manage contracts and procurement outcomes in Defence exports.
• Develop, review and evaluate contract documents and CCPs.
• Draft and progress correspondence and briefs for senior committees.
• Monitor compliance with legislative and contractual obligations.
