Job summary

Amentum is seeking a commercial professional to support Air Defence Systems branch, shaping the commercial strategy and engaging with international partners. This role requires developing commercial artefacts for FMS and DCS cases and aligning branch activities with schedules and budgets.

The candidate should have 6+ years’ defence experience, NV1 clearance (NV2 preferred), and be able to work full-time at the Brindabella Business Park in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Minimum NV1 clearance with ability to obtain NV2 (NV2 preferred).
• Must be able to work from Brindabella Business Park 5 days per week, CBR location preferred.
• Relevant experience undertaking role responsibilities.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience, preferably within Defence.
• Experience in complex acquisition projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and commercial advice on Air Defence Systems (ADS) Branch to shape and deliver the commercial strategy.
• Prepare commercial documentation including strategy and approach to market.
• Support engagements with international partners and contribute to artefacts for FMS and DCS cases as required.
• Ensure alignment between Branch commercial activities, including inputs to schedule, budget estimates, and artefacts; plan future phases.
