Job summary

Amentum is seeking a senior Defence commercial professional to lead complex contract management and procurement for the Export Program PMO. The role involves working within an integrated Defence environment to deliver value-for-money outcomes and ensure compliance with policy requirements.

The position requires extensive experience in managing defence contracts, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to produce and review detailed contract documentation under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Eight plus years managing defence contractual relationships including prime, 2nd and 3rd tier contractors.
• Eligibility for NV1 security clearance and access to US export data (ITAR).
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex defence contracts and related approvals.

Responsibilities

• Commercial support in the Defence export context and procurement planning.
• Develop, review and evaluate CCPs and related contract artefacts.
• Monitor contractor compliance with legislative and contractual obligations.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to identify interdependencies and manage risks.
