Job summary

Amazon Australian Defence Programs team is seeking a Program Manager to support cloud transformation initiatives for Australia’s Defence Organisation. You will coordinate end-to-end delivery, track milestones and dependencies, and maintain stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment to customer outcomes.

You will travel interstate approx. 10% of the time and must be an Australian citizen eligible for Government security clearance.

Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience.
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Experience working in or directly supporting Australia’s defence or national security sector.
Experience supporting program strategy, end to end delivery and customer and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end delivery of Defence initiatives from concept to delivery.
Support the delivery of cloud transformation projects with schedule adherence.
Engage Defence stakeholders and coordinate logistics and actions.
Prepare materials for weekly alignment meetings and cross-team coordination sessions.
Track milestones, dependencies, and maintain accurate schedule documentation.
Maintain project trackers, dashboards, and status reports.
