Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd seeks a Defence Cloud Program Manager to coordinate end-to-end delivery of cloud transformation initiatives for Australia’s Defence Organisation. You will track milestones, manage dependencies across AWS teams, and ensure alignment to customer outcomes while engaging Defence stakeholders.

You will be the connective tissue that keeps initiatives moving, coordinating across teams, maintaining engagement rhythms, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience working in Australia's defence or national security sector.
• Experience supporting program strategy, end-to-end delivery and customer and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end Defence initiatives from concept to delivery.
• Track dependencies across AWS teams and maintain timelines.
• Support cloud and transformation project delivery and quality standards.
• Engage Defence stakeholders, coordinate logistics and milestones.
• Prepare materials for weekly alignment meetings and executive briefings.
• Track milestone progress and manage risks and blockers.
• Maintain project trackers, dashboards and status reports.
• Contribute to process improvements using data and metrics.
