Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Shift Supervisor with a civil background to lead and coordinate civil and structural works for Defence infrastructure in Australia. You will oversee safety, quality, and environmental compliance while directing subcontractors and materials to maintain project schedules and budgets.

The role requires proven supervisory experience on infrastructure projects, strong leadership, and a disciplined approach to site delivery within a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Supervisor role across civil and structural scopes on infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong understanding of site-based construction delivery, quality and safety systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Team-focused mindset with the ability to drive performance on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural construction activities in line with program, safety, quality & environmental requirements
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure efficient site operations
• Conduct site inspections and maintain daily reporting and records
• Ensure compliance with Defence standards, specifications and quality systems
• Act as a safety ambassador on site, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements
• Monitor progress and assist with planning and sequencing of works
• Track site activities and costs, ensuring works are delivered in line with the approved budget and identifying variances
• Contribute to risk management, issue resolution and continuous improvement on site
