Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering critical Defence infrastructure in Australia’s ANI South Australia program. We seek a Site Engineer to support safe, efficient delivery of civil works, reporting to the Project Engineer and owning site-based engineering activities.

You will ensure compliance with drawings and specs, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and contribute to cost, schedule, and quality objectives within a regulated Defence environment. Australian citizenship and Baseline Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience as Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects.
• Sound understanding of construction methodologies and site controls.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate site activities to ensure safe, efficient delivery and alignment with project timelines.
• Plan and execute construction works per approved drawings, specifications, and methodologies.
• Own the delivery of retaining wall structures, ensuring quality and compliance with design requirements.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to achieve programme and productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental standards across site activities.
• Contribute to project controls including progress tracking, cost management and reports.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including QA records, inspections and as-built data.
