KBR in Australia seeks a Breathing Systems Engineer based in Sydney to sustain breathing systems, hyperbaric equipment and charging facilities. You will deliver technical advice, lead engineering support activities, and collaborate with stakeholders for safe, reliable outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering degree, is eligible for Chartered Engineer status, and can obtain Baseline Defence clearance and ITAR clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent in a recognised discipline.
• Eligible for Chartered Engineer registration and professional body membership.
• Able to obtain Baseline Defence Security Clearance and ITAR clearance.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency and Defence clearance eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist systems engineering for breathing systems and hyperbaric equipment.
• Lead engineering support and change activities per plans and standards.
• Lead systems engineering including requirements mgmt, integration, testing and certification.
• Provide technical oversight and risk-based sustainment advice.
• Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and design evaluations.
• Support configuration management, safety, and governance activities.
• Review contractor deliverables for quality and value-based outcomes.
