Job summary

SYPAQ Systems is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Governance, Assurance and TEVV Specialist to support Army AI TEVV capabilities. The role focuses on governance, evaluation, and assurance of AI-enabled systems for Defence programs.

You'll develop artefacts, interpret policies, assess performance and provide clear, risk-informed advice to senior stakeholders and decision-makers. Office-based in Canberra with an initial 12-month contract and extensions.

Qualifications

• Experience in AI governance, TEVV or technical assessment of AI-enabled systems and technologies.
• Ability to review AI governance artefacts and related documentation.
• Proven capability to translate complex findings into actionable reports for decision-makers.
• Strong ability to identify risks, issues and mitigations in AI programs.

Responsibilities

• Support establishment and maturation of Army AI TEVV capability.
• Develop and review AI governance artefacts such as Use Cases and Model Cards.
• Provide evidence-based advice to senior stakeholders and capability decision-makers.
• Coordinate AI evaluation activities with Defence, industry and DSTG.
