Job summary

XPT Software is seeking an experienced AI Governance, Assurance and TEVV Specialist to help establish Army's AI TEVV capability. You will develop governance artefacts, review AI-related policies and support assurance activities ensuring AI-enabled systems are secure, trustworthy and compliant with Defence requirements.

The role involves engagement with Defence, industry and academia, translating complex findings into actionable advice for senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in STEM or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years' experience in AI/ML assurance, governance or TEVV.
• Experience applying systems engineering, risk, assurance or operational analysis methodologies.
• Ability to translate policy and governance requirements into practical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and review AI governance artefacts (Use Cases, System Cards, Model Cards).
• Review AI policies and proposals and advise on implications for Army.
• Support planning and oversight of AI assurance activities and TEVV.
• Analyse technical evidence and provide risk-informed recommendations to decision-makers.
• Engage with Defence, industry, academia and government stakeholders to support AI governance.
