Job summary

Primary Connect, part of the Woolworths Group, is hiring for a permanent onsite role focused on workforce planning and DC operations at Moorebank. The position runs Monday–Friday with standard hours and offers a supportive, inclusive team environment.

You will lead labour planning, utilise labour and warehouse management systems, and contribute to strategic efficiency initiatives. We value strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in DC operations and workflow is essential.
• Experience operating labour management systems and warehouse management systems is desirable.
• High level computer literacy proficiency (MS and/or Google Suite).
• Proven experience managing a workforce and building capability through effective communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to use initiative and work under pressure.
• Strong prioritisation, organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide short and long-term workforce & labour planning for the Moorebank Regional and Moorebank National Distribution Centre (DC) teams.
• Calculate weekly labour planning requirements based on volume forecasts and current work standards within EA guidelines and budgets.
• Implement strategic initiatives to support ongoing operational efficiencies.
• Identify resources gaps & potential improvements and solutions.
• Prepare data for weekly planning meetings with site stakeholders and site labour agencies.
• Management and maintenance of the labour management system.
• Contribute to the National Workforce Planning strategy and framework by ensuring consistent practices are implemented and followed.
