Job summary

Visy is seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician to move into planning and coordination at our Gold Coast manufacturing site. You will plan and schedule maintenance, support shutdowns, and drive reliability improvements across the plant.

This fixed day shift runs Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm. You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, maintain equipment records, and ensure compliance with safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Queensland Electrical License.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and site projects.
• Manage maintenance work orders and planning systems.
• Source and purchase parts, consumables and critical spares.
• Maintain equipment records, maintenance documentation and spare parts inventory.
