Job summary

Re.Group is an Australian owned company focused on recycling and recovery of resources from waste. We’re seeking a full-time Maintenance Fitter to join our team at the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Somersby, NSW, working Monday to Friday on Day shift.

You will perform preventative maintenance on plant machinery and conveyors, diagnose faults, and contribute to safety improvements while supporting a collaborative team in a role that values practical hands-on work and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance fitting within waste management or heavy industry.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing conveyors.
• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade is desirable.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors and plant machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults.
• Identify improvements to equipment and processes.
• Follow safety regulations and report hazards and near-misses.
• Communicate with management and team members.
