Job summary

Iluka Resources is seeking a Day Services Coordinator for the Narngulu Operation in Geraldton. The role reports to the Production Superintendent and coordinates and supervises day services across site to ensure safe, efficient support for production.

The position is permanent with a 5/2 Monday to Friday roster. Applicants should have mining/industrial experience, contractor coordination skills, strong planning and a commitment to health, safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, mineral processing, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
• Experience coordinating contractors and operational support services.
• Strong planning, scheduling and work coordination capabilities.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental performance.
• Effective leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Current and valid C Class Driver Licence.
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the Day Services team and earthmoving contractor activities across site.
• Ensure all day services tasks are planned and executed safely and efficiently to support production requirements.
• Coordinate the procurement, storage and supply of operational reagents to support uninterrupted plant operations.
• Manage site road maintenance, bund construction and civil infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate fabrication and replacement of specific plant equipment.
• Oversee ground maintenance including vegetation management, weeding, and firebreaks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.

About the role

We have an opportunity for a Day Services Coordinator to join the Day Services Team at our Narngulu Operation in Geraldton.

Reporting to the Production Superintendent, this role is responsible for coordinating and supervising the day services function across site, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of operational support activities.

• Proven commitment to health, safety and environmental performance
• Effective leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Current and valid C Class Driver Licence
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification
