Job summary

Iluka Resources is seeking a permanent site-based operator at Narngulu, Geraldton, to operate mobile and fixed plant equipment, manage reagents, and perform site grounds maintenance with a strong safety focus. The role includes assisting with tailings dewatering and related duties within a dynamic mining site.

The position offers a Monday‑to‑Friday roster, opportunities for training and development, and requires a valid unrestricted driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Front end-loader / Skid steer / Forklift licenses / HR licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and fixed plant equipment in processing plant.
• Prepare/manage reagents used in the processing plant.
• Conduct site grounds maintenance and address hazards safely.
• Assist with tailings management, including dewatering of ponds.

About the role

Key responsibilities for this position include operating mobile and fixed plant equipment, preparation/management of reagents used in the processing plant, and conducting site grounds maintenance activities whilst also addressing hazards safely and efficiently. You will also assist with the management of tailings areas, including dewatering of ponds and poly-welding duties as required.

This is a permanent position based on a Monday‑to‑Friday work week.
