Job summary

The Kids Research Institute Australia invites applications for a Database Officer to provide database support, data design, and data management in a paediatric research setting. You will work with world-class researchers to improve safety and quality of care for children and families.

Located at Perth Children’s Hospital, Nedlands, the role offers hybrid working options and a 13-month full-time contract, reporting to the Clinical Research Manager and collaborating with Data Analysts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated data management skills and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of applying statistical methods to health/biological data.
• Ability to develop data workflows including automated reporting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with professionals with varying levels of computer knowledge.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Design and develop data capture, storage and analysis workflows.
• Optimise data workflows to improve team efficiency across projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external collaborators to align data requirements and combine data from multiple sources.
