Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking an experienced Database & Reporting Specialist to manage and enhance enterprise database and reporting platforms. You will ensure SQL, Oracle, and reporting environments are secure, reliable, scalable and aligned with business requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in database administration/engineering, strong SQL Server and Oracle experience, and familiarity with modern reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Database Administration, Database Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Databases.
• Experience with database performance tuning, backup and recovery.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability solutions.
• Experience working within ITIL Service Management frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and database security.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or Cognos is desirable.
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or SQL is desirable.
