Job summary

Victorian Department of Health is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer to design, develop, automate and support ETL and data processing across SQL Server, Azure and Databricks. You will onboard new datasets, create derived data assets and improve operational resilience of data pipelines.

The role requires experience with MS SQL Server, T-SQL and Azure data products, plus the ability to document data models and technical specs. Flexible work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Tertiary IT qualification desirable.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and T-SQL: queries, procedures, views, indexes.
• Experience developing, maintaining or supporting ETL processes.
• Experience with Azure data products (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain data integration, ETL and data processing solutions.
• Develop data warehouse solutions across SQL Server, Azure and Databricks platforms.
• Onboard new datasets and build derived data assets and data dictionaries.
• Document technical specifications, data models and operational procedures.
