Job summary

WorkSafe ACT is seeking an experienced Assistant Director, Data and Strategic Coordination to lead the Strategy team in Canberra. The role focuses on delivering strategic coordination, intelligence and data-driven insights to support regulatory activities and organisational performance.

You will advise the Senior Leadership Team, oversee reporting requirements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including other regulators, to advance strategic priorities during a 12-month

Qualifications

Strong analytical capability with experience in handling complex datasets.
Experience in policy, data or strategic coordination roles is highly desirable.
Knowledge of work health and safety, workers’ compensation and licensing issues is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Lead a small team delivering strategic coordination, intelligence and data-driven insights to support regulatory activities and organisational performance.
Provide expert advice to the Senior Leadership Team and inspectors, and oversee reporting requirements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including other work health and safety regulators, to advance strategic initiatives.
