Job summary

IKEA Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Country Data Analyst to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform business decisions. You will drive data-driven decision-making and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver value across the organisation.

Based in Tempe NSW, the role is permanent, full-time with 76 hours per fortnight and a minimum of 3 days on-site. You will leverage SQL, Python and Power BI to influence country performance and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications (BSc, MSc or PhD) in economics, engineering, natural sciences, CS, statistics or maths.
• Minimum 2 years as a Business Analyst / Data Analyst / Data Scientist.

Responsibilities

• Champions data-driven decision-making and use of insights to improve business performance.
• Performs advanced data exploration and analysis using modern data mining and visualization tools.
• Evaluates and integrates diverse data sources for product analytics and strategic decisions.
• Writes demanding SQL queries to extract, transform and load data for analysis.
• Translates data into compelling narratives and collaborates cross-functionally to meet business needs.
