Job summary

Homes NSW is seeking a Business Analyst - Data & Reporting to turn complex data into actionable insights that support service delivery and improved customer outcomes. You will work within the SDAH to deliver reporting, analyse trends and partner with stakeholders to drive evidence-based decisions.

The role focuses on developing reports, dashboards and performance measures, with emphasis on data quality, governance and collaboration across teams. A proactive, analytical mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, interpret and report on complex datasets to provide meaningful insights that support service delivery, performance improvement and customer outcomes.
• Develop reports, dashboards and performance measures that help leaders make informed decisions and monitor organisational performance.
• Support the design, implementation and ongoing improvement of reporting frameworks, governance processes and business practices.
• Identify trends, emerging issues and opportunities through data analysis and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of core datasets that support organisational reporting and analysis requirements.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate data into actionable insights.
• Provide technical support, advice and capability-building to improve data literacy and reporting capability across the organisation.
• Monitor data quality and contribute to initiatives that improve the accuracy, consistency and reliability of organisational information.
