Gov Recruit seeks an experienced Reporting & Tools Analyst to support a Federal Government ICT team in Victoria. You will administer Jira Cloud/Confluence Cloud, build Power BI dashboards, and transform data to enable informed decisions.

About the Role

Gov Recruit is seeking an experienced Reporting & Tools Analyst to join a Federal Government ICT team supporting the continuous improvement of project delivery tools, reporting and portfolio management practices.

This role focuses on Jira and Confluence administration, Power BI dashboards, data analysis and automation. You will work closely with project managers, portfolio teams and technical stakeholders to improve data quality, standardise delivery practices and provide reliable reporting to support informed decision-making.

The position is based in Victoria, with hybrid working arrangements and flexible work options available in consultation with the manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and enhance Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud.

• Standardise workflows, templates, permissions, dashboards and reporting structures.

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.

• Ability to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance, subject to eligibility requirements.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Advanced Jira configuration, JQL, workflows and automation.

• Power BI expertise, including Power Query and DAX.

• Python scripting for data extraction, integration and reporting.

• Experience integrating Jira and Confluence data using REST APIs and JSON.

• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or other project delivery methodologies.

• Experience supporting project, program and portfolio reporting.

• Experience within an Australian Government or complex enterprise environment.

• Familiarity with responsible AI-assisted development tools and practices.
