The Research, Data and Governance Branch is at the forefront of shaping and delivering impactful consumer and market research that drives regulatory decisions and supports the ACMA’s compliance and enforcement priorities. We champion the ACMA’s data strategy and governance framework, ensuring agency decision-making is supported by high-quality data, sharp analytics, and solid evidence-based insights. The Branch also provides essential governance services, robust risk and fraud management frameworks, seamless parliamentary coordination, efficient internal audit contract management, and targeted international advice and services. The Branch supports the Audit and Risk Committee with secretariat services and oversees the ACMA’s strategic planning and performance reporting.
The Data Strategy and Visual Analytics Section is responsible for delivering the ACMA’s Data Strategy, including data analytics products and services and uplifting data literacy knowledge, skills and abilities of staff to embed data as a critical capability to enhance decision making or improve efficiency or effectiveness.
The section works across the agency to deliver data analytics products and solutions to get the most out of our data. We have delivered several data projects that have supported line areas to ingest, transform, analyse and visualise data to enhance operational and regulatory decision making.
Our data literacy program supports the agency build data capability through training and practical skill development, particularly in the use of Power BI. Our community of practice also supports peer learning and knowledge sharing to enhance data analytics skills through creating a positive and collaborative environment.
As the Data Product Delivery Manager, you will lead and enhance the delivery of our data analytics products and solutions across the Agency. You will manage the building of our business intelligence capabilities including self-service and support delivery of data science and geospatial projects in line with our Data Strategy 2026-29. You will work across business areas, helping teams prioritise data analytics and reporting to support their work, maintain momentum and deliver a broad range of data initiatives.
Across the project and product lifecycle, you will lead scoping and planning of data analytics products and solutions, manage a product portfolio, facilitate seamless end-to-end delivery of data analytics projects, and empower delivery teams to build and release high-value, data-driven solutions in line with approved data project priorities and initiatives.

Suitable candidates will be placed in a merit pool from this selection process and may be used to fill similar ongoing roles in other areas of ACMA. Non-ongoing opportunities may be offered as a specified term.
