FinXL IT Professional Services – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our Banking and Finance consulting practice, leading a major data pipeline testing engagement for an Enterprise Banking organisation. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, ensuring data pipelines and ETL processes meet quality standards.

Qualifications

3 to 5+ years of commercial QA experience as a technical test engineer.
Strong background in data-centric testing, beyond functional testing.
Experience testing data pipelines and data warehousing, with GCP/BigQuery preferred.
Solid understanding of CI/CD and automated test frameworks; proficient with Jira.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Ensure the quality of data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics solutions.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform robust data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Identify, document, and track defects with developers.
Support testing solutions for modern data applications and advocate improvement.
