Job summary

NCS Australia seeks an experienced Business Analyst – Data Migration to support a large-scale BSS/OSS transformation. The role focuses on bridging business and technology, mapping and validating data, and migrating data to meet business requirements.

You will lead workshops with stakeholders and SMEs to uncover data models and rules, translate them into migration specs, and drive alignment across teams, ensuring data quality and acceptance criteria are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on data migration and system transformation programs, ideally within BSS/OSS or similarly complex environments.
• Strong capability to identify and engage business stakeholders, system owners, and technical SMEs to understand existing data models and business rules.
• Demonstrated experience leading requirements‑gathering workshops to document data mappings, transformation rules, validation logic, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience validating source‑to‑target attribute mappings with business users.
• Proven involvement in UAT planning and execution, including data validation and business sign‑off.

Responsibilities

• Lead data migration requirements and data model discovery workshops.
• Work with data architects, delivery teams, and business users to translate requirements into migration specs.
• Ensure migrated data is fit for purpose and validated through UAT.
• Act as liaison between business, data architects, and technical delivery teams.
