Job summary

SA Health in Adelaide (Central Adelaide Local Health Network) invites a Data Manager to coordinate collection, validation, entry, submission and reporting of cardiothoracic surgical data to national registries (ANZSCTS, ANZTHOR). You will support governance, quality improvement, benchmarking and research with accurate, timely data in line with legal and organisational requirements.

About the Role

The role is to Coordinate and undertake the collection, validation, entry, submission and reporting of cardiothoracic surgical data for the Royal Adelaide Hospital to national clinical registries including ANZSCTS and ANZTHOR. The role contributes to clinical governance, quality improvement, benchmarking, research and service planning by ensuring the provision of accurate, timely and complete data in accordance with legislative, ethical and organisational requirements. Ideally, an ANZSCTS Data Manager would possess the following skills and experience:

• Competency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Proven experience with data entry and attention to detail
