EY is seeking a strategic leader to oversee testing across a large Data & Analytics program for an insurance client. Hybrid role in Sydney or Melbourne, collaborating with data engineers, governance, and stakeholders to ensure trusted data products across platforms and cloud environments.

You will define test strategies, lead automation efforts, and drive quality indicators, ensuring accuracy and regulatory readiness across pipelines, BI and reporting solutions.

Formación

• Experience testing data warehousing, ETL pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Strong SQL and Python for data validation and automation.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and data governance practices.
• Experience with BI or reporting tools such as Cognos, Power BI or Tableau.
• Hands-on with test-management tools (Jira, Xray, Zephyr).

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain the Quality and Test Strategy across ETL, data warehousing, BI, analytics and cloud services.
• Lead planning, design, execution and reporting for functional, integration, regression, automation and performance testing.
• Oversee end-to-end validation of data pipelines, transformations, models and APIs.
• Establish data-quality controls covering profiling, reconciliation, anomaly detection and cleansing.
• Partner with data governance to embed quality assurance across metadata and lineage.
• Coordinate test readiness across environments, data, tooling and licenses.
• Design test cases and automation scripts; expand automation opportunities.
• Manage test execution, defect reporting and triage; support resolution with delivery teams.
• Support regulatory reporting readiness through quality gates and test evidence.
• Prepare test reports, metrics, risks and status; support sign-off and closure.
• Lead distributed testing teams and drive continuous improvement.
