Job summary

EY Technology Consulting in Australia seeks a senior, customer-facing QA leader to drive quality engineering across a major insurance transformation. You will shape testing strategy across functional and automation streams, coordinate delivery teams and engage with senior client stakeholders.

You'll oversee end-to-end testing for Guidewire platforms, ensure test governance and defect management, and mentor teams in both functional and automation testing practices, with a hybrid Melbourne or

Qualifications

• Extensive Guidewire implementation experience across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Experience leading testing within complex insurance transformation environments.
• Strong stakeholder management with clients, architects and delivery teams.
• Proven ability to lead functional and automation testing across large engagements.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve test strategies and plans that support agile delivery and automation-first principles.
• Lead functional, regression, integration and automation testing across multiple systems and environments.
• Provide governance and execution oversight across larger engagements with delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Manage defect triage and visibility of quality, risks, and progress.
• Create and maintain test plans and coordinate testing changes.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing across Guidewire platforms and connected digital platforms.
• Design and evolve automation frameworks and libraries.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts and contribute to tool evaluation and selection.
• Work with stakeholders to coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing.
• Lead and mentor team members and promote best practices in testing.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand needs and communicate progress.
