Job summary

HPX Group Pty is hiring a Business Analyst for our Data Insights function in Sydney. You will sit close to the business, act as the trusted go-to contact for partners on reporting, and help stakeholders understand and access the data they need through dashboards and reports.

You will work with a team moving from Power BI to Python-based dashboards (Streamlit) on Databricks, focusing on end-user conversations, requirements gathering and delivering practical data solutions.

Qualifications

• Has experience as a business analyst, reporting, data analyst or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Teach users how to find, access and run reports through training sessions or quick guides.
• Handle ad-hoc data queries and investigations.
• Translate loosely defined requests into clear, well-documented requirements for new reports or dashboards.
• Engage with partners and business teams to understand needs and ensure value from reporting.
• Build relationships and be the go-to person for data inquiries across the business.
