Job summary

City FM Australia is seeking a senior data governance professional to elevate data as a strategic asset across the business. You will govern, steward, and improve data quality, working with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to embed best-practice data governance.

You’ll drive metadata management, data lineage, and catalog initiatives, ensuring secure, trusted datasets for decision making and analytics. A hybrid role with opportunities for growth within a growing FM organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Data Steward, Data Analyst, BI, or related data role.
• Strong governance, ownership, quality, governance accountability knowledge.
• Exposure to metadata management, data lineage, and data catalog concepts in an enterprise.
• Hands-on experience using data governance tools.

Responsibilities

• Data Stewardship & Governance Execution across specified data domains.
• Metadata management and documentation of business and technical metadata and lineage.
• Data quality tracking and risk elevation to the Data Governance Lead.
• Support BI and reporting teams with trusted, governed datasets.
