Torus Group is seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead and develop our data governance framework across the Group. You will work with data owners, data stewards and senior leaders to ensure data is high quality, trusted, well-defined and secure, enabling better decision-making and service delivery.

In this agile role you will implement the governance framework, report on activities and maturity, and guide policies.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional qualification and experience.
• Proven experience leading data governance activities in complex or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data lifecycle management.
• Experience developing and embedding governance policies, standards and processes.
• Knowledge of data quality management and GDPR requirements.
• Experience using BI/reporting tools, such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and risks in complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Group's Data Governance Framework.
• Provide assurance to senior leaders by reporting on governance activities and maturity.
• Develop and maintain data quality policies, metadata, data lineage, access and retention.
• Act as central point of accountability for data governance across the Group.
• Support chairs of governance committees and provide expert guidance to data owners and stewards.
• Define and maintain data quality standards and targets with business stakeholders.
• Oversee data quality reporting, dashboards and performance monitoring with BI team.
• Own and maintain organisational data dictionaries and ensure consistent definitions across systems.
• Promote data governance principles through stakeholder engagement and communication.
