Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Data Business Analyst to ensure data is trusted, governed and fit for purpose as we evolve into a data-driven, AI-enabled organisation. The role collaborates with Senior Data Architect and stakeholders to translate concepts into enterprise data models and embed governance.

You will maintain data quality, catalogue definitions and lineage, monitor metrics, and support compliant, efficient data workflows across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years proven experience in data governance and data analysis.
• Experience across business analysis, security and data architecture domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document key data concepts with business stakeholders.
• Design and maintain conceptual and logical data models with data modeller.
• Support data governance concepts and standards: ownership, glossaries, quality rules, validation and documentation.
• Maintain data catalogue: definitions, lineage and metadata.
• Monitor data quality metrics and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Ensure requirements align with data security policies and optimise data processes.
