Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to translate data management requirements into practical guidance for the Business units. You will collaborate with divisional teams to understand data risk, prioritise work within a governance framework, and interpret Data Management Standard requirements for implementation.

You will help test, shape and embed new governance capabilities, representing division needs in enterprise discussions to simplify data management for teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in data management, data risk or consulting with a focus on practical implementation within organisations.
• Ability to translate risk framework requirements into actionable steps for business teams.
• Strong stakeholder and collaboration skills with the confidence to engage diverse teams and explain requirements clearly.
• Good written communication skills with experience developing guidance documents, templates, and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Turn enterprise data management requirements into clear, practical guidance for the business.
• Work with divisional teams to understand data risk in key processes and support framework-based prioritisation.
• Help teams interpret Data Management Standard requirements and implement practical solutions.
• Test, shape and embed new capabilities as the data governance tool (Collibra) evolves.
