Job summary

T+O+M Executive is seeking a Data Engineer to help modernise a financial services data platform in Sydney. You will migrate a legacy SQL Server data warehouse to Azure SQL Managed Instance and build secure, tested data solutions for governance and analytics.

You will design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines, models and datasets for regulatory and management reporting, with a focus on DataOps, runbooks and strong validation. Collaboration with risk and business stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, BI, data warehousing or analytics delivery.
• Advanced SQL Server skills: stored procedures, performance tuning and data modelling.
• Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Data Factory or SSIS Integration Runtime.
• Proven ETL/ELT pipelines for material data flows and data quality controls.
• Strong grounding in dimensional modelling, data quality controls and reconciliation.
• Clear communicator across technical, business and risk stakeholders.
