Job summary

Balance Recruitment is seeking two experienced Scrum Masters to guide delivery across complex IT initiatives and champion agile practices. The role is based in Sydney with a hybrid work setup, requiring a minimum of 50% office attendance.

The initial contract spans 16–18 months and involves collaboration with Project Managers, Product Owners and governance committees to drive timely, high-quality outcomes. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach teams while coordinating

Qualifications

• Minimum four years as a Scrum Master.
• Experience delivering IT projects and SDLC understanding.
• Proven ability to coach teams and drive delivery.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, showcases).
• Support teams to apply Scrum framework and deliver quality outcomes.
• Identify and help resolve impediments, risks, and issues.
• Plan milestones, outputs and tasks with Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Coordinate delivery with business and IT stakeholders; support governance updates.
• Coach teams, promote Scrum practices and self-organisation.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and delivery quality.
