Job summary

Outlook Talent Solutions in Sydney seeks an experienced Scrum Master to own Agile delivery for a key program within a leading financial services business. You will establish and embed Agile practices, coordinating multiple teams to keep development focused and on track.

You will facilitate ceremonies, manage Jira/Confluence boards and partner with stakeholders to communicate progress, risks and dependencies, under the guidance of a supportive manager focused on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience working with Software Development teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience establishing Agile frameworks, processes and ways of working.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and coordinate multiple delivery teams.
• Confidence holding teams accountable for commitments and outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.

I'm currently recruiting a Scrum Master for a leading financial services business, offering an opportunity to take ownership of Agile delivery across a key program.

Working closely with a supportive manager, you'll play a key role in establishing and embedding Agile practices, coordinating multiple teams and ensuring software development remains focused, accountable and on track, you will be a superb communicator with an ability to pull everyone together in the same direction.

This role would suit an experienced Scrum Master who enjoys bringing structure to delivery, facilitating collaboration and challenging teams constructively to achieve outcomes. This is a true Scrum Master role and it is important that candidates have operated as a dedicated Scrum Master previously.

• Partner with stakeholders and leadership to communicate progress, risks and issues.

• Work alongside a supportive manager to drive Agile delivery across a key program.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master role.

• Experience working with Software Development teams

• Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Experience establishing Agile frameworks, processes and ways of working.

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and coordinate multiple delivery teams.

• Confidence holding teams accountable, including software development teams, for commitments and outcomes.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to identify delivery risks, manage dependencies and keep teams focused on priorities.
