Job summary

MSS Security is seeking a Data Centre Security Officer to join our Sydney team. This role requires vigilance, professionalism and a commitment to safety in a high-profile facility.

You will patrol the premises, control access, monitor CCTV, assist visitors and respond promptly to incidents. The position offers sponsorship for eligible candidates and a PV clearance allowance of up to $20,000 per year, with rotating 24/7 shifts to cover a data centre environment.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen
• Willing to obtain Baseline/NV1/NV2/PV clearance
• Valid NSW Security Licence
• Valid NSW Drivers Licence
• First Aid & CPR certificates (or willing to obtain)
• 24/7 availability on rotating roster
• Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift
• Background information referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education may be required

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols to ensure building safety and security
• Monitor and control access to the premises for authorised entry
• Oversee CCTV to detect and respond to threats
• Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors with inquiries
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies
