Securitas is hiring a Data Centre Security Officer in NSW. The role focuses on access control, visitor screening, and maintaining data centre security while delivering strong customer service. The position offers casual hours with a pay rate of $49.94 per hour and duties include patrols and incident reporting.

Shift times are 6AM to 6PM. You will need NV1 clearance, reliable punctuality, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NV1 clearance.
• Candidates with customer service experience are essential.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively.
• Be punctual, reliable and professional at all times.
• Demonstrate strong observational skills for security purposes.
• Capable of basic to intermediate PC tasks using MS Office.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Protect premises, occupants and property; report incidents.
• Greet visitors and employees and assist as appropriate.
• Carry out site patrols and accurate report writing.

Responsibilities

• Screen visitors and contractors at the facility while maintaining safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance as needed.
• Conduct site patrols and write clear incident reports.
• Enforce access control and compliance with security procedures.
• Support a safety and compliance culture across shifts.
