Job summary

Change Recruitment is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager for a major data centre build in Sydney. The role covers physical infrastructure and technology deployment with end-to-end delivery from planning to handover.

You will coordinate engineering teams, facility partners and suppliers, manage schedules, budgets and risks, and ensure readiness for production. A strong focus on vendor and stakeholder management is essential for success.

I’m partnering with a growing technology infrastructure organisation to hire a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager for a major data centre build in Sydney.

This is a hands‑on delivery role across both physical data centre infrastructure and technology deployment, covering areas such as:

• Compute and server infrastructure
• Networking and storage
• Power, cooling and cabling
• Data centre readiness and commissioning
• Vendor and contractor management
• End‑to‑end delivery through to operational handover

You’ll coordinate engineering teams, facility partners and third‑party suppliers, manage project plans, risks, dependencies, budgets and milestones, and ensure the environment is delivered to production readiness.

What We’re Looking For

• Exposure to HPC, hyperscale, cloud or high‑density compute environments
• Experience across network, storage, compute and facilities workstreams
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills
• Hands‑on project delivery experience rather than purely governance‑focused PM work
• Experience with commissioning, rack‑and‑stack, cabling, power or cooling highly regarded

Experience with HPC, GPU or AI infrastructure would be a strong advantage.

This is a technically complex, high‑profile infrastructure program with strong potential for ongoing work.
